Say It In Spanish is a language education business based in Western North Carolina. Our goal is to help individuals and businesses achieve fluency in Spanish through personalized instruction and a unique teaching approach. We also offer professional translation services for individuals and businesses looking to create documents and materials effectively in Spanish.
Our sessions are designed and run by Carmen Ybarra, a native Spanish speaker with over 12 years of experience in teaching Spanish to people of all ages and backgrounds. We offer a variety of formats, including private lessons, group classes, and virtual sessions, to suit the needs and schedules of our learners.
Our curriculum focuses on real-life language usage, incorporating cultural aspects and practical conversation skills into each session. We believe in making learning Spanish fun, engaging, and accessible to everyone, regardless of their previous language experience.

Carmen Ybarra
Meet Carmen, the founder and lead instructor of Say It In Spanish. Carmen is a passionate and experienced educator with a deep love for language learning and cross-cultural communication. She has dedicated 12 years to teaching Spanish to students of all levels and backgrounds.
Beyond language instruction, Carmen is a skilled translator and interpreter, with experience working in a variety of fields, from small non-profits and large corporations. If you need documents translated we can provide accurate and effective translation services.
In addition to her work with Say It In Spanish, Carmen works for a local non-profit organization. In her free time, runs a support group, SPOT (Supportive Parents of Transkids), is a photographer, and she is always on the lookout for new ways to learn and grow.
At Say It In Spanish, Carmen is committed to providing personalized, engaging, and effective language instruction and translation services. She believes in the power of language to connect people, broaden horizons, and create positive change in the world.

Refer a friend and earn rewards
Our referral program offers a $10 reward as credit or cash for individuals who refer a new student or family to Say It in Spanish. After the new student completes their third week of sessions, the referrer will receive the reward. Please note that the referral bonus can only be issued once the payment for the third session has been received
